Uniform is part of the 5-Mile complex.

uniform-stringer-051203-002It is a reef consisting entirely of Contour Coral, about half the size of a rugby field, and is home to the very rare Tiger Angelfish, which is found only in the area from Aliwal Shoal to Southern Mozambique.

Also found on this reef is the Swallowtail Angelfish, which is found only at depths of 26m and deeper.

Often we will come across a huge East Coast Rock Lobster and, because of the depth, we will occasionally spot a shark. The sharks seen most often have been Zambesi’s and Tiger Sharks.uniform-mello-yello-060419-001
