Maximum depth: 18 m
Kaleidoscope is an area of the 2-Mile Reef which is unknown to other dive operators. This area was originally only used by spearfishermen.
On our very first dive, as we got into the water, we were surrounded by a huge shoal of yellow-backed Fusiliers, reminding us of the Kaleidoscope we played with when we were children.
Kaleidoscope is on the edge of 2-Mile; dropping in at 18m, the reef slopes gently up to 14m. On this slope there are quite a number of large Coral outcrops, which always attract shoals of small fish. Often we come across a very large Crayfish hiding there.
